History

Disney Promises was actually created way back in April 2006, on Piczo. However, by July 2006, I had realised that Piczo just was not right for me... It was too restricting, and you didn't get respect. So, I decided to move to Geocities, and by the end of July 2006, was all ready to open. I stayed there till August 2006, when I realised that Geocities wasn't working out for me either.

Then came my big switch over to Bravenet. I bought my very first domain, disneypromises.com, and happily remained there for just over a year. However, in October 2007, one of my hostees created a domain, and made ME pay for it. Naturally, I was very annoyed, and so I deleted it... causing them to claim revenge by deleting my entire site.

I then looked for new hosts, as my mum didn't like me using Bravenet anymore. I looked around and found Kinohost. I knew that Misty used them, so I emailed her to see if she'd recommend it. She did, and I started to rebuild my website. It took me a long while, but finally in January 2008, I reopened as disneypromises.net, and hope to remain here for a long time :)

Version One :)

Name: "New Beginnings" ft "Something There" Scene from Beauty and the Beast

Comments: I did love this layout... then it all went wrong and I began to hate it, because it all looked so... well... pooey. Haha. I named it New Beginnings, because it was a new beginning, for this website, which I had just brought back, as you can read in history above.
Rating out of 10: 5 probably.

Version Two :)

Name: "That's How You Know" Ft Giselle and Robert from Enchanted

Length of time it was used: 25th May-1st September
Comments: I am really pleased with this layout actually. It took me a lot of hard work and effort, and you don't know how many times I re-did the main image! But finally, it's up, and I really love it. I really do =)

Comments: I did originally like this layout. I was really pleased with the filmstrip effect at the bottom. But then time past and I found loads of things wrong with it. Shame really, cos I was well proud of myself at the beginning.
