Fun, exciting and whimsical, Disney's California Adventure was designed as a fun-filled celebration of California and the Californian Dream, giving guests a unique opportunity to sample the wonders, dreams, beauty, and diversity of California in a Disney world of discovery and entertainment. The park opened in February 2001 and is divided into three thematic areas: The Golden State, Hollywood Pictures Backlot and Paradise Pier.
